TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.     Whilst I naturally strive to complete work to the highest possible standard, as with any proofreading human error can always occur. I will endeavour to make and suggest as many improvements as possible to the text but 100% accuracy can never be guaranteed. In particular, I cannot be held responsible for any perceived loss resulting from my work.
2.     Equally, I cannot guarantee any particular outcome from the service that I provide. For instance, I cannot guarantee that you will achieve a publication, a successful application, or a particular result from my input.
3.     I do not partake in any task that might be considered to provide an unethical advantage. For instance, I do not write academic essays from scratch or offer a paraphrasing service of such work. I am happy to provide an editing service for work that the client has produced in such circumstances but my mantra is that the client should take control of their own work and the final version of their work; I will provide feedback and suggestions to help with this process.
4.     In all circumstances, it is the client's responsibility to verify if they are permitted to use an editing/writing service for the task that they are asking me to undertake and whether they need to declare it.
5.     I am always happy to receive queries from potential clients, in whatever form this might be. I always respond as quickly and helpfully to these as I can. However, I cannot guarantee 24/7 availability and I can in no way be held responsible for the effects of any delay/failure in responding to a query.
6.     Equally, I am under no obligation to take on a particular project that I am sent. I will always do my best to help, but my main two concerns are delivering work to a high standard that fulfils the needs of a client and that meets their stated deadline. I will not take on work in the rare circumstances that I feel unable to achieve these two requirements.
7.     I will inform the client of the price for the specific service that they have requested. This, along with the payment method and payment schedule, will be agreed by both parties before work commences.
8.     A client has the right to request cancellation of a service at any point before work has commenced. Once I have started working on a project, I reserve the right to invoice for the quantity of work undertaken at the point of cancellation.
9.     The client agrees to pay the full sum of an invoice within 21 days of the invoice being issued, unless otherwise agreed.
10.  If, upon receiving the work from me, the client wishes further amendments to be made, I will do this at no extra cost where these are reasonable and do not contradict the requests previously made. If the client is unhappy with the service provided, and it is not possibly to informally resolve this via the aforementioned process, I will be happy to provide a suitable refund if they can give clear justification for their grievance.
